What is Vida Loca Travel?

Vida Loca Travel was formed to allow travellers to join together to create the perfect holiday environment. We feel that its people that make a great holiday; Vida Loca Travel allows users to interact before leaving on holiday to form a group of like-minded travellers.

To find your holiday, search based on both the type and location of trip and then network with other members to form a like-minded group. You can interact by leaving messages on the forum by each holiday, or by sending private messages to a user.

Mark Thompson – mark@vidalocatravel.co.uk
Vida Loca Travel founder Mark spent four years working in Equity Research, where he researched listed travel companies and airlines, throughout Europe. Mark has travelled extensively, most recently around South America, where he wrote freelance articles for travel magazines. Mark has also worked with O’Neill Europe, for whom he organised surf competitions and club nights. His interests include skiing, surfing, football and, of course, travelling. He has a degree in Economics and has passed all of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

Sarah Cannon– sarah@vidalocatravel.co.uk
Sarah’s pretty good with numbers – she has a Master’s in Statistical Science from Cambridge to go with her first class Maths degree. Prior to her work with Vida Loca Travel, she worked for three years in credit derivative structuring. Sarah is conversational in both Spanish and, after a couple of drinks, Glaswegian. Her interests include travelling, languages, skiing and cooking. She has travelled extensively thoughout Europe, Australia and the Americas - she is a font of travel knowledge, whether it be backpacking in Colombia, or the best 5* hotels in New York.
