How to Use Vida Loca Travel

Vida Loca Travel is simple and free to use! Here are some tips for getting the most out of the site:

Getting Started

Click on Register and sign up now! You will need to enter a valid email address and confirm your registration through the link that we will spend to you (please check your Spam folder if you can't see the email).

You choose how much information to show on your profile, but we have suggested a few topics that you might like to share with your fellow holiday makers.

It’s OK if you don't want to sign up yet, you can still search our holiday database, although you will need to sign up to see the full details of the holidays.

Searching for Holidays

You can browse all of our holidays or search within our four categories - Skills, Adventure, Culture or Party. We give links to our chosen holiday providers' websites where you can learn more about the trips that interest you.

If a holiday tempts you, click on ‘I’m Interested’ and that holiday will be saved in your account. All users can see who is interested in each holiday and you can post comments by each holiday, so that you can interact with other users interested in the trip.

You can also suggest holidays for friends who are not yet members on Vida Loca Travel by clicking on 'Recommend This Holiday To A Friend' at the top of the holiday page.

Booking a Holiday

Once you are ready to book a holiday, click on 'Count Me In' and then follow the links to the booking site of the travel company. Don’t forget to mention 'Vida Loca Travel' when booking your holiday. This is necessary to claim your cash back (and we mean cash - not vouchers - real money!). Once you have taken your holiday, we will send you your cash by a bank transfer(see the cash back page for details).

Once we have confirmed that you have booked on the trip, we will add you to the 'Count Me In' area of the holiday page. You can see who else is booked and perhaps make contact before you go on the trip.

If there is a holiday that you like, but you want to go on a different date to that specified, send us a message or write a comment on the holiday forum and we will try to get those dates on the website too.

After the Holiday

Soon after your holiday, you can look forward to receiving cash back! We want to hear how your trip went, so let us know about it... Vida Loca Travel carefully selects the holiday providers on our site and your feedback helps us to choose the best holidays for the Vida Loca Travel community.
